Looks like it was a fun trip. I really wanted to be able to go, but it wasn't going to happen with all the family in town. I just finished my Master's Degree in geology and my field area was Pilot Valley so I've driven that whole area MANY times...I love that place.

BTW, DAA, love the last pic you posted with Pilot Peak in the background.

Yup, Kurt and I are doing a little role reversal this year. I lead the trip, he writes the report!

My problem isn't that I don't like to write them, despite what I feel are limited writing skills I actually enjoy writing. My problem is time, however with a few other big writing projects behind me, I took the bullet on this one. And the world ended a few times this years with my reports

I have footage but the fires mixed with darkness made the video really hard to see anything.
