For sure but I mean I haven’t had a personal checkbook in probably a decade. But that’s not really a modern form of payment anymore. Venmo, cashiers check, wire transfer I almost prefer any of these methods to cash with large sums of money. I sold a car once and got like $18,000 in $20’s. It took the bank a ridiculous amount of time to have everything counted twice and deposited.I mean I’d trust 6k cash before I’d trust a 6k personal check. Especially where one walks away with goods and the other walks away with a piece of paper that may get denied.
Come on. That’s as good as cash.
I sold my cruiser for 11k and the guy brought a stack of 100's. I was counting them out on the tailgate and was like I hope we don't get a gust of wind right now. It was kind of fun. So maybe CASH is worth a little more? You know, for the baller experience.
I've heard of cashiers checks being bogus too. If I buy or sell with a cashier's check, I do the transaction at the issuing bank.

Yeah that messaging system has saved me like $1k on stuff I totally would’ve bought. But still, I hate it.I hate Ksl’s new message system. I don’t think people realize it is there, and now you have to opt in for personal contact information to be shown. I have money ready to spend on a couple of items, I can’t personally contact the seller… And they have not responded to any messages.
