I sold a dirt bike to an older guy from Wyoming for less then several other offers because he came and looked at it, made a good case for what it needed and reduced his offer by that much. The other offers were texts saying, I can come get it today if you'll take XXXX.

In reality you probably didn't sell it for less, those texters wouldn't have paid full price or even shown up.

Even worse are old man phrases like "Whats your cash n carry price?" or, "Whats your best price cash in hand?"

This aggravates me so much. If you want to haggle, come look at it and then tell me why it's worth less than I'm asking. But don't expect me to do your haggling for you.
That kind of stuff irritates me. Your problems aren't my problem.
Here was one of mine. No reply after I suggested he make me an offer. I guess he wanted me to donate them??

I had a weird one over the weekend, I found a new listing for a fixer upper, non-operational truck that I wanted to purchase and flip.
I messaged the buyer and told him I would pay his asking price, had a trailer ready, cash in hand and could pick it up that day. I was more than willing to drive 90 min to buy this truck, without hesitating.
He has been dicking me around on any information and ended up telling me that now he wants to get it running and driving and work on some of the problems before selling it.
I'm confused... why list it on the first place? I'm sure the price will go up after he works on it..... and I'll walk away.

Sold a KTM 65 this week. Dude pulls up in a brand new dually with a 40 ft 5th wheel toy hauler and 3 mini bikes for his kid that races (50cc, 65cc and a backup 65cc) brags about replacing them at 50 hours. Then commences to lowball me like 10 times about $200. You can't brag about how baller you are and then be a dick over 5% discount. People are funny.
