I got my build date finally. The hold up was the color apparently. This will end up being Harrison's daily driver as long as his grades are kept high enough to my standards and he keeps his nose clean. If not, he gets to drive the old Honda Accord I have kept around for people to borrow. Its not going to be setup for hardcore wheeling.
Thoughts:
Enough of a lift to clear 33's or 35's. (Spacers or springs) I don't need anything fancy. No more than 3" because I dont want to have to worry about any slip yoke or driveline modes and everything else that comes with raising them too high.
Front and rear bumpers
winch
LEDs
I don't know how big of a fan of TerraFlex I am. On my TJ I had a lot of joints wear out and it wasn't wheeled hard or had many miles on it. I think I had to replace 2 or three in 10K miles. I finally got fed up with the arms and replaced them with another manufacturers bushing type which was fine for what we did. The lift was not a long arm lift.
I go to Missoula a lot and when I do, I visit AEV because they are across the street from my client. The guys at AEV said that longer arms are not needed for any lift under 4". They said a TJ is a different story because of how short the arms were on a TJ.
