Ok, Kev and Katelyn, I am good for a C-note. Lets get a RME sticker on this buggy. :D

Do we do a link, paypal, venmo?

What is a reasonable goal?

Post up with other part needs too, we probably have most of what else you need kicking around RME garages... ;)

We're working on the plans for an official RME donation to Kevin and Katelyn, just hammering out the details.

Thank you @Jinx.

UPDATED

We appreciate the help and the RME family has done so much for us. We did not ask or expect this but are truly appreciative. Here is the list of things we thought we needed for a fresh start buggy build. Feel free to add to it as we are new to this.

Things already done:

Motor: LM4 with 205/217 cam shaft, 799 heads, LS6 intake. Has new push rods and and nrw stronger LS6 valve springs.

Goatbuilt Chassis

Warn winches front and rear

Axles from XJ with wheels and 37s

4 speed atlas T case.

Th350 rebuilt with manual valve body.

PRP Seats

Arb air compressor with switches.

Battery and battery box.

Adapter to mate my atlas to th350

Artec Full hydro mount and link tabs purchased.

ORI 14 front and 16 rear inch Struts

Th350 shifter from RADdesign products.

Summit Machine joints
(links will ship when we have measurements)

Warn Winches:
Front VR Evo 10s
Rear VRX 35

Raceline wheels and future 40 inch Maxxis tires.

Adams Drive shafts
(Need measurements)

Front and rear cutting brakes

Master cylinder

Pedals and assembly.

Fuel cell/pump 15-20 gallon.

Radiator/ Electric fan

Transmission cooler/fan.

ITEMS NEEDED:

Howell wire harness and computer

Full Hydro Steering

Removable steering wheel/setup.

Headlights.

Rear synthetic winch line.

Katelynn is continuing to look for sponsors for different things and we will update this as things move forward and Warn is an example of that.
We are so excited and are grateful for all the help thus far. Goat built and the Reeves as without there help this wouldn't have even been a possibility and I'd probably would have made the mistake of building another XJ. Thank you again.

Kevin and Katelynn.

This is moving forward. The Chassis has been delivered to Blind Squirrel racing. They will probably start on it in 2 weeks after the last Supercrawl event.

I have ordered the Novak adapter piece to mate my 4 speed atlas to the TH350. Also the Artec Full hydro mount and some link tabs.

I am purchasing a LM4 from my cousin. He is going to install a larger cam shaft, springs, and new seals and install the larger trail blazer SS intake on it. My Th 350 should be here tomorrow when Tim comes down for the memorial run. Getting super excited as things are going to start moving quick.

I need to get busy and pull the axles out from under the XJ so when I deliver the drive train I can also deliver the axles. Also Katelynn got her winches from Warn. So excited to have them on board.

Awesome news! That LM4 with a cam and TBSS intake ought to run pretty well! Sand dunes should be way more fun! ;)

Raceline wheels is one of our Sponsors and our contact is Richard who travels to different events. Katelynn talked to him 2 trail heros ago. At trail hero this year we went to say hi and thank you and while talking he mentioned he needed to leave his trailer some where instead of taking it to California and back. So I offered and we had his trailer at our house for a 1.5 weeks. In return he brought us 4 new rings for our wheels for the new rig. Our old rings are fine but rock rashed. So the new rig will have new unmolested rings.20211029_071408.jpg

Any idea when the chassis will be done and in your hands for the build up?
So I think they might build the whole rig. Or as much as they can within reason. Trying to figure that out. They will at least mock up the drive train and axles and get it to roller status. They want the drive train in the next couple of weeks.
Excited for this!
So are we.
