You would have to assemble the FJ40. Takes a lot more time and effort as well as thinking it through. A pack of bimetal blades will have the Dime down to trail trim in 3 hours. Think Cody's Grand Cherokee.

You could be wheelin it in a month.

Dig up $400, and ill let you haul off a half built half rusted out 40 from my back yard. has a chopped up suburban frame sb350, t350,np203, 14 blt, dana 44, 36' tsl swampers 1/2 tread (side wall rot) comp cut, hard top...dont know if it runs, but its plenty ugly. cheapest way to build a buggy is buy someone elses unfinished project.

I agree on s-10 buggy.

it has a good frame, motor trans t-case is installed, no clocking needed - its above the frame bottom, just a full skidplate for that, spring over the rear, run some 52" chevy springs up front, 1 ton axles, chop off unwanted body and add cage....

1 weekend for suspension, 1 for hacking, 1 for cage, 1 for wheeling... moab easy!

Taco, I know you hate the Dime but what better way to send it to its death than to turn it into a Ugly Buggy with a pooo pipe roll cage and beat the snot out of it :)
