umm,,, the lowers need to mount under the shaft....
And???

The cross member will prevent the uppers from being mounted directly above the lowers. I would like to see both UCA's and LCA's mounted near the t-case yoke.

Sibeta, show us a pic of your 4 link.

Wha??? So, you want to triangulate both the uppers and lowers the same way? So, they're both narrow towards the front, and wide towards the rear? I must be understanding you wrong, cuz that wont work. That wont affectively control the axle laterally. Like I said, I'm sure that's not what your planning cuz that would be dumb. You're not dumb, are you? :p

The uppers do not need to be mounted "directly" above the lowers....

I'm questioning your design,,,, maybe we should consult an engineer...........

There is room for movement, but the crossmember looks to be at least 8" behind the t-case yoke. do you want the uppers to mount that far behind the lowers?

In essence, I copied you, so that is where I place the blame :D

Of course, all of this is just guesswork for now, we haven't taken any measurements, in fact, we haven't even consulted with an engineer. Is someone on RME an engineer that could help us out?

Shorter UCAs than LCAs will cause the pinion to dive as the axle droops and the pinion to lift as the axle stuffs. The opposite of what you want. I'd try to go for similar length or longer uppers, if possible.

That is exactly what I have been trying to say for the last page. James asked if we could move the crossmember, and a assumed he wanted to because it would be in the way of the uppers.
