Outer Stub Shafts

So I have been looking at upgrading the outer shafts on my 60 to 35 spline. I have called Six Staes, Looked at Superior and Yukon and I'm blown away at the price difference. Are the Superior shafts worth the $500.00 for the pair when you can get Spicer's for $150-$200.00?

I ruined my Spicer 35 spline stubs. (ruined the inner Spicer shafts too, stretched ears on both) I have Yukon 4340 shafts now--I figured they're a great upgrade to Spicers, but nowhere near the cost of Superiors. If I ruin these, then more spendy ones will be necessary.

I looked at yukons, alloy's and bobby longs burfs for my 60. I ended up going with the Alloy's front inner and outers. I got them for about the same price that the yukons would of cost me. Plus they have a 10 year no question warranty.

they sure are spendy...what joints are you gonna be running? do you carry spares? CTMS and Superiors are probably in my future.

Does Bobby Long have a website...?

I can't seem to find one.

Looks like the Alloy UAS shafts are about $150.00. Not too bad....

That the one. From what I been told by the vendors he helped start up superior.
That's my understanding as well... They also do NOT like each other, not even civil. If you look at their components, they are identical as well. I'm not sure if he took the specs to India and is having them make them for him, or if he is using Superiors supplier. Either way, they are made in India and look identical to Superior's stuff. The only thing that doesn't look the same is the price!

GM or Ford outers? The Ford outers I can have by the weekend. GM's I would need to call and see what Alloy USA has laying around, stockwise. I can do either for $115 +tax each.

Yukon's I can do both sides for $206 out the door (tax included), and should be the same lead time.

So who is a local vendor that selss Alloy USA and CTM's? If you are, PM me a price for a Dana 60.
CTM's I can't help you with. But Yukon's I can. Yukon has their own super joint that is like the CTM's with a forged 4340 cross and brass bushings. I can do the pair of super joints for $430 out the door (tax included).
