What did you find interesting about it, the gerble talk or the warranty? :ugh:  :D ;)

The intact looking joint. It's all about the carnage. :D....... (it takes more than gerbils to interest me......honestly, they scare me......)

That why I went with Alloy USA. I didnt want gamble on getting a good set.
On the other hand yukon has beefed up the ears on there shafts,
Longfield joints are newer, but he has had them in comp buggies with no problems.
You know, I would love to go with the Alloy USA but the price difference is quite high. If you know of a source that has good deals on Alloys please let me know. Roundeyes, was quite expensive.

(He)Broke on Friday, ordered new shafts on Tuesday, should see them by Friday. WOW, I remember my friend ordered a Moser shaft (just one) had it a month later! I got my Yukons from Colorado, had them in three days. You don't miss many trail rides due to broken parts with service like that.
I have seen a couple Pictures like that where the Joint didn't let go, even after destroying the shafts it was still intact. Reason enough for me to try the $30 joint first instead of a $250 joint.
I wonder if I have the smaller ears on my Yukon shafts???:spork:

how long have you had them. They had them for a few months now. I was reading on pirate one guy ordered stubs and he got 1 old and 1 new. It was quite a differnce, but he was told some line that they were close to the same strengh. Now all you will get is the new ones.

I wonder if the old style was a Warn and the new style is genuine Yukon? When I asked my Yukon sales rep he had no idea what I was talking about. Dummying up? or oblivious? who knows... But he did say that anything going out now is the new stuff.

I'll make anyone a SWEET deal on these Yukon shafts.... I'm going to be placing an order Friday if anyone wants in... PM me and I'll tell you the price. I can't list the price, as even with sales tax added, it's still under MAP.

I bought my shafts last summer, I built my front axle while I was waiting for my Atlas and other parts to arrive. It was the first thing I worked on, so I am sure they must be the older ones, but they are stout any ways and I am not too worried about them yet.

Shafts have been ordered. Wyane gave me the best price, none of the vendors on POR were as low, close, but not quite. I would also rather support a local vendor that cuts good deals.

Thanks, this has been a really good thread.
