Haha I wonder if it’s the same Fence that did mine. I posted about the same stuff with the cuts they did by hand on here

Is it a guy named Mark Peterson???

Dang that sucks. The stuff they fixed is still pretty subpar (IMO) and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. It also took FOREVER!

2 weeks after mine was “done” we had a wind storm and 3 caps blew off. There was no glue on the posts at all. So I texted him and let him know and he said he’d have caps out immediately. I texted him once a week for SIX F’N WEEKS before he brought the caps out. The whole thing left a really bad taste in my mouth and I wish the guy I planned to use would’ve been available.

Well we just had a massive sideways blowing thunderstorm come through and none of the "installed today" caps blew away so we'll call that a win.

@N-Smooth so to update this.... just like your experience. The repairs were pretty meh, but I didn't want to wait however long it would for them to replace that post and then also inconvenience my neighbors. So I'll fix it better in the future if it becomes a problem.

What is a big freaking problem is the caps. It has now been over 2 months and I still don't have them glued down. With him promising every other week that he'll be out to take care of it "in the next few days." I sit here angrily typing this as I listen to a wicked wind storm that has already blown 4 more (to make a total of 8) caps off of the posts.

In between all these texts I've also had 2-3 phone conversations with the guy. I have tried really hard to be nice (because I want this crap done) but I am over it.

He in fact did not come out Monday.

I know it's his responsibility to do it, but at this point, I'd go get yourself a can of clear PVC glue, and do it on your own. Then, send him a scathing text, and blast him all over social media and google with the screenshots of your texts.
That's the plan! Yesterday was his last chance. I'm just gonna do it myself now and hope I can find all the caps lying around my yard...

FWIW, Home Depot sells 4" PVC fence caps as well. Not sure if the style is the same as yours, but I do know I had looked at them this summer when I was wondering if was a decent idea to try and do a 40' section myself or not.

Sounds like par for the course for them. That guy SUCKS. One of the last texts I sent to him was asking him where I can buy the caps since he clearly isn't going to bring them out. After that he finally came out.

It boggles my mind how many good reviews he has. I'm trying to get all my neighbors to write one because this is ridiculous.
