I think the intercooler is about 12x12x8" thick. It won't fit in front of the radiator. There is a transmission cooler, air conditioning condenser and some bracing. I refuse to cut up a perfectly good rust free body. So, I'll figure something out when i turn up the boost and fuel later on.

A little lighting upgrade was needed on the range rover. Never hurts to have a little motivation to finish your project

Moving it has helped my productivity. I ordered a bunch of crap for plumbing earlier this week. I'll be building the exhaust and intake stuff in the coming week.

Tonight I ran my oil cooler lines line and my heater lines. I used stainless steel braided hoses because it looks cool and doesn't kink with the weird ways I had to run the hoses.

Some pictures

Is that dryer vent tubing? Worried about it collapsing or holding up with all the shakes & rattles that a 4x4 will be subjected to?

Yeah. It's kind of mock up. So I'll try it and then build something later on. I don't know if a t3 can pull that much air through the intake to worry about it or not.

I was looking at intercooler piping on Amazon. I also have an intercooler that will be added when I put my larger turbo on it. I need a friend with a TIG welder for aluminum.

ok, i'm trying to get done. the finish line is in sight, my list is becoming smaller. If only I'd stop adding stuff to it.

Today, throttle linkage.

I combined Land Rover parts and Mercedes parts. It makes it super simple to have the kickdown cable for the transmission and throttle cable to operate correctly. It was easy to weld on a tab and linkage bar from the mercedes parts i had as well. Done. Moves really nicely. I will need to add a spring for a bit more throttle closing tension.

So, any electrical geniuses on here?

Here is what I want to do. The OM617 is turned off by vacuum. I would like to have the vacuum pump turn on for about 20 seconds after I turn off the ignition switch and apply vacuum to the injection pump of the OM617. I guess there is probably a relay out there that could do this. The power on my trucks accessories turns off after I open the door. If I could do something similar, that switches on after the ignition is shut off. Any ideas?

Working on the hidden winch mount for the Range Rover. Not a lot of room. But I can hide it under the stock bumper. Now I just need to fabricate some brackets and weld it up.
