rme trail ride during ejs

I'll be dwn with a group the weekend before easter, Fri to Mon. Will have wife and kids so looking for moderate trails 2 days (i.e. Golden spike, Hells Revenge, Steel Bender, Metal Masher or ???), 1 day will be good for a hardcore trail if anyone wants. (kids love the hotel pool anyway). If anyone wants to join, they would be welcome. We are staying at the La Quinta, and My cell # 801-541-2538. Call Or text. Jack. Would love to meet up with some RME rigs!

Saturday, the day before Easter, I have found those trails to be VERY busy, since the majority of the other trails around Moab are "closed" for EJS groups. Many of the people not running an "official" trail go up to the BFE area. This is likely where I will be too, since I am not a "follow 50 other rigs on one trail" kind of guy.
I do not have a problem with them "closing" the trails either BTW, that is what EJS is all about, not just me going down to run a few misc. trails.
I guess all I am saying is be prepared for crowded trails.
CR

BTW, We will not be running any trail with the EJS, But every rig in my group will be making a min $50 donation to the Red Rock 4 Wheelers. I ask my friends to do this because we all appreciate the efforts put forth to keep the trails open for us to enjoy. In previous years we have registered and signed up for just one run, but it is a little slow paced. We will be completely respectful of the groups running with EJS, and stay out of their way. And anyone wanting to join us is welcome also.

I will be at the U4 booth friday. I would like to do the Coyote, Strike Ravine to Green Day or Helldorado run on Saturday if anyone is in.

I will probably be around from the 14-23rd and would like to do these trails again. Actually, I don't think I've ever done Coyote? But I'm open! :D

lets do it. friday the 14th and sat 15th.

wayne, I've never cared about damage.

I figured as much, but I had to ask - new is not equal to salvaged...;) I think this trip I'll need to be careful. I have to pull a trailer down and back and if something happens, my wife will literally kill me. Especially after getting a $195 speeding ticket today!! :eek2: 51 in a 35... Country back road with no houses or anything around. Just me and a radar gun! Oh, and the sheriff pointing it at me ;) Traffic school is another $115. So I'm still surprised she is letting me go....

But still like to hookup and run some... So keep us posted on the trails you choose and maybe I'll grow a pair and join ya! :D

Opening weekend I will be in a borrowed rig, maybe not even locked. I'm gunning 7 Mile on Saturday but wouldn't mind doing something on Sunday. Or maybe I can hop in an empty seat for some harder stuff.

they've all been new. I buy vehicles for a purpose and then use them for that purpose.

we'll probably be running the poison spider-gold bar loop one of the days but don't know about the other day(Friday,Saturday).
Shane what are your plans?

I don't have any issues running those... In fact, I've never been all the way on Poison Spyder, so that might be a good time to try it. I've always just cut across Golden Spike and done the complete trail. Or I've done Rusty Nail up to the Crack and then back around the loop. I should be around from about the 14-24th, so I'm sure I'll hit one or two trails ;)

My concern is getting the buggies back to town, street legals can keep going all the way thru, if they want...

I understand... I was just saying in case I go and others wanted to continue.. Late day run to rocker knocker and out might be about all we'd have light for anyway. I guess it just depends on how late in the day we get started......

Prichett canyon, tues. or wed. night in at the campground up rocker knocker then backwards back out to the trailers

Anyone interested ?

Let me know which night and I'll try to make it. Looks like I'm borrowing my old LTJ for EJS since my buggy won't be finished.

I'm interested. I have never done pritchett at night, but why not up rockpile then back? It isn't that much further is it? Anyways, I'm in.
