Can't make that one, we are arriving Saturday. What days are you going to be there? We all need to meet up. :)

That sounds doable! I should be in town Thursday afternoon. What time at the market Friday?

Great, now everybody is going to be confused!

I figured 6:00 in case some people are finishing up an early dinner and want to join. We'll still get a good sunset from anywhere in the canyon. :)

Another vote for 5pm ;) I wish I would have payed attention to what time it got dark here tonight... Point being, if we meet too early then it's not much of a night ride :D I'm goign to go out on a limb, and say it got dark here about 730? tonight....And it's dark, too. Not much moonlight to help, either.

Are we among those that will be eating an earlier dinner? :guilty: Here are my thoughts for an earlier departure: I would rather spend all our daylight hours wheeling instead of taking an hour and eating dinner. As of this point it looks like we're at 6 plus rigs which is great, but if anything were to go south on anyone, it would seem logical that it would happen on the drive up. So the more daylight we have up towards the top will only work in our favor. Another motivating factor would be getting up there to watch the sunset, then rallying back to go have dinner. Yummy. Plus, I must admit, I'm a giant pansy and the longer we're out there after dark, the colder it gets and while Lemon Joy has many attributes, her heater isn't all that and a bag of potato chips. :o

Discuss. :)

I'll see you Tuesday at 5 then...

Pkrfctr - did your friends make it in yet? There's a guy that came in after dark from NV in a CTD? with a camper pulling a black Rubicon - not sure if this is anyone from your group? Any thoughts on what time you want to hit Golden Spike?

Not sure what the weather is doing north, but south of Moab it's dry for the most part with some scatttered hail storms and patches of blue sky. Looking towards the mountain, I can't see it anymore, so I'm sure it's probably snowing over there. I heard SF canyon got socked in last night with a few spinouts. I hope this isn't telling us what the weather will be like down here for EJS. I'm tired of the cold/snow; I want warmth! I want to put the top down and maybe even take the doors off (don't want to freeze my 2 year old though). Yesterday it was warm, like 65*? Last night it was low 40's

I don't think we were even moving at 830ish! lol

We went and ran Behind the Rocks today and will be doing PS and Golden Spike tomorrow - if we have time, we'll turn around and run Rusty Nail while we're there.

If anyone is interested, we'll meet up at City Market at 10am tomorrow...
