We'll see. Elon's MO is to fire first, realize the mistake, then rehire right away. If it happens a third time it'll be almost as much of a trend as Trump pocketing investor money, then bankrupting the business to dissolve the debts. #success

There will likely be lots of jobs in agriculture and food service coming available anyway. Maybe in wall building as well (unless the plan to have Mexico build the wall was to actually pay the immigrant labor (COD) to build the wall prior to deporting them). Then tear up the COD of course. Then rehire them to maintain the wall. It's a hybrid business model from the top down.

I'm just thankful we'll never have to vote again. The election cycle is just too stressful.

Yes, but mine is mostly satire lol. I just like to poke fun at people that just brush aside the insane things their demagogues say and actually do.

I don't actually think Trump can get rid of elections (but I do think his followers would thank him for it), and I don't actually think he will make Mexico build the wall. It just sounds cool.

I do actually think lot's of service jobs will be available though...because they already are
 
I kinda wonder if they are just keeping the legacy media really busy and trolling. Not a big fan of Canada becoming a US state... but Greenland is interesting for some reason.

I don't think he's kidding when he says release the hostages or all hell is going to break loose in the middle east.

I think the whole Canada thing is just Trump being Trump and poking Trudeau in the eye. Greenland is something that has been an on and off interest of the US for a long time. It is reported to have a lot of natural resources. Would it ever be economically feasible to extract and export from there.......probably not, but in the times of current unrest and conflict, I look it as more of a strategic control thing. Would it be in our best interest to let China and Russia have control of those natural resources......probably not. Would we expect Denmark to stand up against China and Russia.......probably not.
 
With Meta announcing that they are getting rid of their "fact checking" I'm again utterly disappointed in humanity. The number of people who are upset about this is mind boggling.
The number of people who think this is being done by Meta so Trump can "get away" with lies is even more confusing. That's like saying Fox news is now covering for the Biden administration by promoting his agenda. Did these people not live in the modern world during COVID where many, many things were fact checked false and removed that were unequivocally true?

How does a person come to the idea that NOT removing things will cause lies to be more of a problem? If you can see all the information and you can vet it all, then decide for yourself, how is that a problem?

I guess it's just more proof that people are completely in echo chambers and don't want to see anything they disagree with.
 
Because people believe everything on the internet. They don't vet anything. Most don't even understand how to properly test an idea or theory. But they all will claim to be experts on things they failed at in hs, and criticize the work of the very people that they were cheating off of in hs ha ha.

He's not trolling anybody. He's floating trial balloons to see what you all will let him get away with. 50% of the US is joking around and dismissing his comments out of one side of their mouths and cheering him on out of the other and it's amazingly retarded.

He wants Greenland (and Canada) for the same reason that he wants control of the Panama Canal - to control global shipping lanes. As the ice melts, the Northern Corridor opens up and becomes a viable shipping route. Orange Hitler wants to control those shipping routes so that he can strangle any other country that defies him, and the fact that he's not willing to rule out invading sovereign countries in order to do it is 100% on type for him, and no less disturbing because of it.

Everybody who is mad that we're getting involved in Ukraine and thinks we're provoking global war should be utterly incensed by this. But you're not. Because Republicans Good, or something.

Meta is the parent company of Facebook and Instagram among other properties, and is run by lizard man Zuckerberg. Musk (the other lizard man) bought Twitter and renamed it X.

Tell me, have you called out ANYBODY who has used that kind of derogatory language about Biden or Harris or any other liberal figurehead in this thread? Or is it just when I make fun of the Cheeto In Chief that you get your back up?
