A Population that is informed and educated on the Constitution, their rights, history, and responsible politics are a detriment to the system. My kid is about to graduate and it sickens me how little he has been taught in school about history and politics. Luckily he has an interest and has learned a lot on his own time. If the American people would take the time to educate themselves we could fix the system in a few elections.

I have a feeling that its simply a reflection of how disconnected from the common man he actually is. I would however, make that comment about many of the politicians in this country. Not all perhaps, but certainly many.
