I know where you can get a bad a$$ 454 with a fresh rebuild (brand new everything but the block) for $6k. ...You'll have to take the sweet boat that is wrapped around it, though... The guy that bought my boat over a year ago is no selling it again. He had a heartattack last summer after blowing his back out. He said the boat has sat and hasn't even been started since I started it for him on the side of the hwy when we made the exchange. On the way home, one of the straps came undone and beat the bottom of the boat to death, so he had to have the bottom redone for $1500. Here's more
