Southwest Bike Trip : St:George or Mesquite

There's a good chance I'll be coming down for this.

I have an 8.5'x16' flatbed I can tow if needed behind the F150 and gas is free for me. If I do end up going and anybody wants a ride (or I can just haul a bike), chime in. It's a supercab, so the back seat is a little tight but not bad. I'll try to post up my plans for sure ASAP.

Alright - time to commit. I need to get my bike licensed again which is going to take a DOT, high/low beam light setup to pass inspection. Anybody have a cheap or used recommendation for the DRZ? It's all wired up, and I have some of Deviant's fantastic LED's mounted to the bars so light output isn't really a concern.

Also, the above offer still stands if anybody needs a free ride to and from St. George. I'll be heading down 4PM'ish Friday from Ogden, and plan to ride all day Saturday and then Sunday morning as well. I can seat 3 more pretty comfortably and can pull the trailer if needed to haul bikes. Post up if you're interested! Tyson, Cheston, Stratton...?

I can be in for sure for Early Friday - Saturday night. I have to be back Sunday Morning.

I can drive my own car if nobody else is a Saturday leaver, but still need my bike toted down and back if that is ok.

What skill level of trails are we doing??

I don't think the trails will be that difficult, I was planning on riding the 3 loops mentioned early on in this thread. Beyond that, I don't know of much else. We could ride in Sand Hollow if those trails aren't enough, but that will REQUIRE flags & an updated registration.

No need to pitch in money if you're staying at my place. All I ask is for help cleaning before we take off.

Yep. That's not a problem. I will still be driving my truck down and possibly a trailer. I need to get my quad down there for the winter cause I can still ride down there.

I know a lot of trail, but not all by name. depending on where you want to park, we usually park at washington dam, but there is good stuff closer to Hurricane too. It would be fun to run the coarse from this years desert race, but Im not sure how to get the whole loop without remote fuel, dont know the short cuts out, and Im sure not everyone would want to come out of dutchmens.
