Transmission-47RE HD

T-Case-241 HD

Axles- 3 Rockwell 2.5 Ton with Detroit lockers

Suspension-coil 4 link

Wheels and Tires- Hummer Internal Beadlock, with Interco Iroc tires, or Swampers. Interco is our sponsor so we change tires alot.

Winch- Mile Marker Hyd.

Favorite Trails-New Mexico four corners area, all of Moab, Hollister Hills CA....to many to list.

Other-The T-Rex is a rare rig that we try to keep nice looking for all of our sponsors yet, we still wheel the crap out of it. It has schooled many rock buggies on thier own turf, and has won many safaris. It also is excellent at rescueing stuck rigs. I am now a yearly judge at TTC, and I help set up and design the courses. I also use the T-Rex at TTC to extract stuck and dead rigs. Last year I took the T-Rex in three times into the Tank Trap to Extract the D100, the Mudder Bronco, and the huge 11,000 pounder Kaiser. That was a trip. The T-Rex is here with me in Utah, but my Tow Rig and Trailer are still down in New Mexico. The T-Rex is street legal but sucks the gas and only has a top speed on the highway of about 55. Since is has lockers on all three axles, the streets also tear up my tires, so when I can I trailer it to the trails I do.

OK here is my softer side. Here are some pictures of my daily driver. It does great. My wife has one also, except green.

2000 Jeep CHerokee, 3" lift, custom bumper, superwinch, BF Goodriches yadda yadda....... It is a great get around town kinda vehicle. I will throw a locker in the rear just ot be on the safe side if we have anymore bad snow storms...always be prepared. I was hoping that it would really snow bad so I could take the T-Rex out on I-15 and pull people out. One year in NM, it snowed real bad and I pulled a Tractor Trailor rig out of the ditch. The driver thought I couldn't.......HE THUNK WRONG!!:rofl::rofl: ( I pulled him out with the T-Rex, not the CHerokee)

OK So Some of you Utah folks think I have taken the Green color scheme too far Almost every vehicle I own is lime green, My KLR is Lime Green, My motorcycle jackets are green, even my Mountain Bike is lime green.... My wifes CHerokee is green....But...My Daily driver is silver, and my tow rig is silver, so I don't think I have gone too far. My First car was a 68 charger, and my second car was a Green 68 Charger RT. That Hemi Cuda lime green color has just kinda stuck with me.

Nothing wrong with having a favorite color! Good looking KLR, Kawasaki made a 180* in the cosmetic department with the new design. I just sold a '98 KLR... and it was green too. I'm hoping to be able to buy an older KTM Adventure 640 later on this year. Are you registered on Adventure Rider?

THat is wild, It shows up in the weirdest places. I found whole web page features on it in France, Spain, Russia, Norway, Netherlands and here. I have found it on 57 web pages, and it has been in 13 magazines, in one video game and several TV shows. It is fun to see where it shows up. It is pretty popular, I think it is due to the Radioactive Green color,
If you want your rig to get attention just paint it Hemi Cuda Green:rofl:

It is in the old Xbox game called Ultimate offroad Test Drive. It looks Identical to ours, yet you can make it any color you want. I prefer the Green. I suck at video games so my son got me to the level where I could buy the T-Rex. I played it for about an hour, and then realized ...What in the Heck(proper Utah word) am I doing, I got the real thing in the driveway.

I went straigt out and took the real thing down to the pumis mines to romp on it.:D

Here are some links to web pages I found the T-Rex on. It is funny where I see it pop up. The Rusian and Arbic one is cool, I wounder what they are saying about it. Problably saying.."Stupid American Capitalist Pig-Dogs, with their silly trucks...":p

Hey Bro- I think that it is now 13 magazines. I am not sure if you remembered that Petersens put your rig in a two page spread in their Readers Rigs Magazine. Later.

It was great to meet you the other night at our club meeting stan! wish you woulda brought that thing though :D

I'll bring it next time. With gas at $3.50 gal, and Premium at $3.90( V10 likes good gas;))it could be expensive.

Let's see now the club meeting is 5 miles away, and the T-Rex holds 500 pounds of fuel, there is a station on the way, and so if I top it off there I should be able to make it to the meeting with at least a 1/4 tank, then somebody could follow me back so if I don't make it back to the gas station they could tow me.... and it should only cost me $ 249.50......:rofl:

Really its not that bad, Highway about 8-10mpg, off road 6-8mpg:rofl:
