I should do more guitar lessons, that would pay for them, but my work/life balance is way out of whack anyway.

I'll be running my balding coopers. still 37's, just very bald.

So I definitely won't be starting the truck tonight. But the good news is that the ram assist is all hooked up except for hydro lines.

what does the anti-submarine belt really do? Is it helpful at all in a rollover?

Also, do the 3-point harnesses still feel like a 5-point when you're in them?

Are those krawlers I see in the pic on the right?

I was getting frustrated trying to fit all the lines on the box, so I just called it a night. My wife deserves some time with me, and I have totally neglected her the past month. SHe's a trooper for putting up with me through all this.

I still can't find a good way to route the lines without them getting in the exhaust manifold, or the steering shaft, or just hanging way low. Anyone have any pics of their hydro assist lines going into their box?

I twisted mine to make them turn certain ways then tightened the fitting. I also used some of the metal bands with rubber coating to route them around stuff.

anyone know of any good ramps in the Lehi/AF area where I can flex out my suspension and measure bump stops, shocks, and driveshaft?

We have an empty lot by my house that the belly dump trucks dump their dirt, so their are multitule mounds of dirt to cross flex the truck, any construction sites in your area?? even residentual.

Thanks rick, that's the picture sure got me motivated.

I should be trying to start it within the next hour. I'm just finishing up the heater install, then I'll put the dash wiring all in. I can't believe it's finally so close. Although, realistically, it could always run until I pulled the gas tank, so there shouldn't be any surprises.

Ok, the engine will crank and start with starter fluid, but the engine isn't getting fuel. Any ideas? I can't hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key, but I'm a noob to carbs, so maybe I'm listening for the wrong thing. Any ideas?

Manual fuel pump as in cam driven or an electric pump on a switch?

Run 12v from the battery to the pump and verify that the supply line to the carb is recieving fuel.

It's cam driven.

Figured it out. I just didn't have enough fuel in the tank. It's running now. It's loud without an exhaust, but it's running!
