Oh? Is Dale Earnheardt gonna be there? Yeah, it's a bit much for one day.jpnty said:Have you ever priced nascar tickets? Not to mention this is alot more exciting.

Technically, you would be driving a buggy on a course. I may try to get in on some of that actionJames K said:golf sounds like more fun and a better bang for the buck.
Jeep_people said:You guys that would rather golf should probably stop talking about suporting the sport. Yes the price has gone up compared to being out in the sticks but now you have conveince. I am sure that $15 a day is less than driving to the closest previous venue and paying $10 a day. Look at it compared to any other sporting event and it is still an awesome price.

Jeep_people said:I didn't say anyone should get rid of there vehicles or quit the sport but just one page before some of the golfers were praising X96 for suporting the sport and then your next post is saying that you will not be supporting the sport by going. I don't golf very much but your I would guess going to spend $15-$30 for a couple of hours of entertainment that your can't take your kids to unless they are playing wich will cost more.
I guess I just think it would be nice to show UROC that what they are doing for the sport is appreciated. I don't know the exact bill on building those courses but they had to put a lot of money on the line for somthing that many on this board said couldn't happen. Now that they finish it and charge a resonable price for admission you say that is too much.
James K said:and as far as the bill. weren't they asking for volunteers and FREE dirt and rocks???????

Seriously, $15 is a drop in the bucket. Hell, movies cost $8 around here, you don't see Dale Earnhart and they only last 2 hours. At Supercrawl it will last probably 6 hours and you get to see Tracy Jordan.
$15 dollars - I had to pay $550 dollars. My spotter and I get in free and I think we get three wrist bands for each day. That comes down to $36.67 a day PLUS we all have to drive 600 miles.
From my perspective, you guys are really lucky to have this in your town. There are people coming from around the country to watch. People are driving and people are flying. Teams are spending thousands to make it from down south. $15 dollars? Whatever....
If you don't want to go I don't care but you are just asking for people to get heated when you say that that cost is to high. It is not. See you there.
Does anyone know if there are kids tickets?
Berrett - I have heard that you can get $2 discounts at Maverick.
