SWEET. i probably have 1000 slides of my grandpas from the 60s and 70s. many of him with his 'burban' in moab, mineral basin and others. i have tried to find some one to convert them to digital format, but they are just too damn expensive.

I think the tide is already turning... More and more people are building streetable rigs, places for buggies and trailer rigs are getting few and far inbetween. I could't imaging running the trails I prefer in a "buggy". There is a place for everything, don't get me wrong... but I truly think people are starting to sway away from buggy's and get back to streetable, long-distance worthy, capable rigs. My 2 cents... Feel free to differ...

I agree... everyone was telling me go full size chev axles and toss in the v8 powertrian as well... I went with narrow track axles from a waggy, and kept the 2.5 L.O. for now, soa and should be very road worthy and long trail capable.

I am planning on the 15 to 20 gal. fix on the fuel tank trying to keep it so that I can do long distance trails.

Isn't that Church Rock in the background? If so then the dirt road they are on appears to be the paved road that currently goes into the Needles District. Thats pretty cool - I've never seen a picture of it dirt before. Wonder what the "Home of Happiness" looked like then.

Yep, that is the Silver Stairs....though, now you only go down them since it's a one way trail
