New favorite BRCC beyond black 😋

Got their quasi sampler, silencer smooth is pretty good, just black is pretty good i think a bit better than AK47 but my fav of the group is beyond black

I have tried many a coffe over the years, I do love don Francisco , but the past few years I have learned the importance of supporting local, we have switched to Ibis coffee roasted in Cache valley, the Highlander grog is something pretty amazing! This is in large part why I get my beans from Salt Lake Roasting Company. They're local, have been committed to the Salt Lake coffee scene since 1981, and they produce a good product.

I got a stainless filter for a 2qt mason jar to do my cold brew in, and so far so good.

I ran one batch through it, 48hr brew, and it is nice and smooth. I think I was rushing things a bit with the french press, plus using cheapo coffee. Selection is pretty limited here, but a nice medium roast seems to work best. I used to drink dark roast got coffee, but as a cold brew it just tastes burnt.

My wife's Christmas present was a Keurig K-Cafe coffee maker that does Latte and Cappuccino... kinda a gift for both of us! 😁

Made a cup this morning, frothed up the creamer and it was awesome!! 😍

We were on Kauai recently and picked this up at the coffee plantation. It’s a pretty good bean. A title too mellow for me but it’s hard to go wrong with anything Hawaiian.

My wife gave me a 1 year subscription to BRCC that will deliver every 6 weeks. I get my first one after the first of the year.
