Moab ride. We will Leave this Wednesday night, ride Thursday and come home Thursday night. We will run 5 trails. We will climb up Killer Kane and come out cliff hanger then up through Kane creek to Whole in the Rock to get treats and then back through behind the rocks and Pritchett Canyon. This ends up being a long tiring day and most bikes will be on fumes but we end up carrying a liter or two of fuel in the backpacks and emptying them in the tank as we make room for it. It will be fast paced so if your up to it your welcome to join. Fun ride

Russ, I'm really interested. How fast paced? I might bring my dad. He is a strong rider but 3rd and 4th gear rides are a little too fast for him.

We did a similar loop over Easter this year. We fueled up before entering the Kane creek trail, and 3 of our bikes ran out of fuel after Pritchett on the county road back to the truck near Kane creek. Of course these were 2t's.
My desert tank had enough to refuel them all to get back.

It should be noted that you have to ride on the highway for a few miles.
Highway patrol was too busy ticketing the other group of bikes as we rode past, so they didn't bother chasing us.

Very fun ride!

We ride from the hotel to Killer Kane which is just past the entrance to Cliff Hanger and then your on the road from Hole in the Rock to the entrance to Behind the Rocks. I ride a WR and I made it back to the hotel on reserve and I gave a liter of gas out of my tank to someone else

Russ, I'm a 90% on this. I'll ride the TTR since it sounds like there is some road riding and it has a range of around 100 miles. What hotel are you staying at?

Heading down to St George this weekend. Staying at the time share and have some extra space. Anyone want to join us? So far, there are 4 of us. We'll head down Friday afternoon and I'm planning on coming back Monday afternoon.

Where is the best place to ride in St. George? Any single track?

Wanner Valley, between washington (washington dam) and Hurricane south of Sand Hollow, tons of single track.
