I was late because of half marathon traffic this morning. Derek and I still managed to find each other on the trail, after we each rode a loop solo. Once we met up it was short lived. I got a rear flat going up 39. So we rode a few miles out and the day was over. Looks like its time for a rear bib mousse, rear tire, and maybe a new warp 9 front wheel. That way I have a backup set for races. I already have a spare rear warp 9.

Harrison and I ended up riding Hobble Creek to the bottom of Saw Mill and back

Edit:
There is a puddle of oil under Harrison's CRF150RB. He must of hit a stump or rock and pushed his gearshift lever into the case and put a pin hole in it. Could be worse, it could be the main case. Anyone in Davis Co weld this thing?

Harrison was hoping to race in Price Saturday but I head out of town tomorrow and I doubt I can get it fixed before I leave and doubt I will have time to get it together when I get back. I will give it a try though.

Well we made it about to the first fork on trail ?40? Heading to the switch backs, my BIL's yzf decided to lose a couple bolts and puke his exhaust off. We used Some bailing wire to get to back into place and headed back to the truck. Pretty short ride.

You need to teach those boys about routine maintenance...

Is your family allergic to bolts? Looks like yamaha a have the same problem. ;)

I think the ktm is teaching them bad habits while they are all in the garage together. It's kind of like the friend you don't want you kids to have..

I need to teach myself! I have not lost a bolt in 10 years. This whole maintain a bike thing is going to take some practice. However, I believe it may be worth it.. I am really enjoying the ktm.

i will be going to look at a route glockman suggested for my GF

start at tibble, take 40 up to 157 head south then come down 41 or add in 252 off the back then up to the summit, then from the summit take 157 back to 41 and down to the dam.

Went riding alone after work yesterday. Started at hope campground up Provo canyon. Headed south and then hit up the trail 80 single track. That trail takes you up and over the mountain east of Provo that has all the lines on it when the snow melts. The trail was pretty overgrown from last season. There was also an avalanche this winter that blocks the trail about 1.5 miles from the summit. It was fun at first hopping 8-18" logs. But it got old fast once I hit snow. There is no snow or mud except for in the ravine but it's a good 10-15' deep with 80' downed trees. So that's where my day ended. Probably the biggest avalanche remnants I've seen. Probably 5 miles long and 1000' wide.

I will be camping up Hobble Creek from Wednesday night thru Saturday night this week. I will most likely ride hobble or diamond fork every night after about 4. Anyone is welcome any day. Just let me know. I won't have service after 4 everyday but I will until 3ish.
