For for a future ride.. Is it possible to go from AF to hobble/diamond fork on single track?? That would be fun.

I don't think you could, you've got Provo Canyon in the way. You could ride a decent amount of the way down AFC towards Aspen Grove, then hop on to the highway for a short distance, run to Squaw Peak and then I think that can take you all the way in to Hobble Creek and then I know you can go from Hobble Creek to Diamond Fork. I don't think it's really single track most of the way, but it would largely be offroad.

Another fun one that you could make in to an over-nighter would be AFC to Midway, jump on the highway and run up to Strawberry, then you go get offroad from there and come out in Hobble Creek, Diamond Fork, or Spanish Fork Canyon. You could spend the night in the White River area. If you really wanted to make it a long trip, come out in Spanish Fork Canyon, then you're only a couple hundred yards from jumping on the Skyline Trail and that can be an adventure in and of itself.

We had a good ride today. Went up 40 to 157, over to 38 and down. What a joke that trail is! I went up it once about 3 years ago, but can't believe it now. I would bet it is the most difficult trail in AF. if you would like a serious work out, ride 38

The Stansburry trails? I remember those and loved them! What time are you planning on riding? I would love to come but I should verify my jets in my bike this time before I go balls out. :)

I ended up going solo so I spent a fair amount of time searching for new 2 track I can take the utv on. Found tons of dead ends and some fun stuff. I made it far enough south that I went up Hickman and rode the single track home. It was actually nice to ride solo and I found myself stopping to enjoy the views much more than normal.

Got my bike decorked, jetted with the JD kit, and installed radiator guards, looking forward to some riding this weekend. What a PITA it was to get the intake boot back on the carb. I removed the carb because I wanted to get familiar with working on the bike.
