I wish I could have made it.. I did get my new front tire on tonight, now I want to re gear it for a little more speed until AF opens. I have range duty until 4 on Saturday but would be up for a ride after if anyone wants to hit a trail somewhere.

man, that sucks Caleb.

My brother and I rode out west of the lake looking for anarchy trail. We missed one of the turns, and ended up exploring all the way up to the radio towers. Round trip was about 30 miles. I was afraid my little kx100 was going to run out of gas (1.5 gal tank), but we made it back to the truck with gas to spare. It was a beautiful night with a full moon and lots of jackrabbits to chase. I really like my little kx. Plenty of power, I just need to do something about the wheelbase.

Sounds like fun, seeing it that dry up there makes me excited to think AFC will be open before late July this year :D

If my spring arrives, we were talking about doing a night ride under the moonlight (supposed to be a big one tomorrow night :) )

I'm planning on riding AF Canyon on June 2nd, assuming it's open. If it's not open, I plan on riding wasatch sate park and coming up the backside.

We need to do a monthly night run, that was so much fun last year. I just ordered a lighting coil, regulator and switch through Steahly. I need to get another polisport headlight from you Caleb. I'll shoot you an email with the details.

Well, just got home from a night run of the single track (along with a little bit of new single track). What a blast! Night rides are among my favorite rides :D

For anyone who is interested, my dad has been riding the singletrack in Hobblecreek canyon for a few weeks already. He said there is no snow and very little mud anywhere. He rides from Kirkman's hollow over to Mapleton Canyon every week.

awesome. Let's do it. Thusday night anyone? Do you need to be street legal to ride Hobblecreek? I've never ridden there before, so I'll just be getting a feel for the area. I can leave Lehi at 5:20 Thursday night, arrive at the staging area around 6-6:15. Who's in?

I wish I could make Wed work for me. I work from 8 Am to 11:30 PM on Wed.

I could do an occasional tuesday or friday night, but Thursday nights and Saturdays work best for me.

That looks like an amazing place to ride, super buff single track. Anyone know where one might pick up a trail map of the area?

There is a trail run that my wife and friends do a few times per year. It is called hope to hobble. I believe it's about 20 miles starting at hope campground by squaw peak and ending in hobble creek. Almost 100% positive that motorized vehicles lime dirtbikes and quads can go there. Diamond fork up Spanish fork also has some awesome riding.

Just found out were leaving for St. George Thursday night or I would totally be in for the Hobblecreek ride. Anyone want to do it Wednesday?
