I was thinking it was going to be 10 am in hobble creek. We could meet at the chevron at 400 north and main street in springville unless someone has a better idea. I can also go a little earlier if the rest can. Maybe meet there at 930 and riding by 10.

That time works for me. I know nothing about the area, and I've never ridden the trails. So I'll just be following Tyson and Caleb.

I was thinking around that same time frame. Hoping to be riding by 10. I too have no clue about the area, Tyson, looks like you get to lead :D Meeting at the Chevron sounds like a good idea, I'll plan to be there at 9:15-9:30.

I vote for singletrack over fire roads, since that's what Hobble Creek is famous for. But I'll go wherever you take us Tyson.

I also have never ridden there so I hope you're not depending on me too much. I'll try and find some maps but if we get lost it's steves fault.

I think this will be the ONLY time it's not my fault for getting lost. So if we start at 10 AM does that mean I'll be home by dark? :D

I'm all about getting lost :D

I'm all about getting lost, riding over millions of logs, and kickstarting bikes until my leg falls off

Steve - Do you want to ride together? I'm taking my truck/trailer and could swing by and pick you up about 9:00

That would be awesome. Thanks. I think Rick (other trials bike rider) is wanting to come as well. We may be able to have him drive us and save gas even more. I'll let you know.

I kinda want to ride AF... since we don't know where the good trails are up hobble creek.

So I can't seem to find a trail map that is readable or with numbers or names on it anywhere. I know where a few of the trails start but don't know where to turn or how to get back. Caleb, do you have a gps on your bike? I know Grant does. That may help us out.

Nope, no GPS, I sold mine with my last bike and have yet to replace it. If you know where they start, I'm sure we can find some stuff to ride :D

I'll see you guys around 9:30 at the Chevron. If you need to call, my cell is 801-915-3070.

Had an awesome time today with Steve, Grant, and Caleb. We rode Hobble Creek for about 4 hours. None of us had ridden there before but it was amazing terrain, weather, and views. There were surprisingly no issues at all and we never got lost. There were some steep climbs and decents but we all handled them great. At least I think I did, I know everyone else did. I led the whole day so I had the majority of the spills due to being surprised around every corner. At least I keep blaming all my falls on that. Anyways, I had a great time and the group was awesome. I'd like to try diamond fork sometime soon if anyone wants to check it out with me.

We were planning on going blind, and still pretty much did but there happened to be a huge trail map at the trail head so Caleb and I took pics on our phone just in case. I'll have to pick up a map though cause I want to ride this area a lot more.

I really wanted to join you guys today but schedules just didn't win out. I guess I did join the tail end. Strange running into you like that. I'm in for a diamond fork ride if I can swing it.
