Sweet, sounds like fun. Is the loop off Right Fork rd single or two track?

Anyone riding AFC Thursday? or this weekend?

Yes :D. It's a bit of both two track and single track. Right off the road it's two track.

I might try to hit AFC but not sure when. This weekend might be out for me, Sunday would be the only day I might be available but I may not be up for it.

I ate it pretty good tonight riding trials. I just about ran over a rattlesnake and freaked out and went down. I think I cracked 2 ribs. If I feel good enough by Thursday, I'd like to do a ride, maybe AF canyon.

We had a great ride this weekend up Hobble Creek. Much the same as we ran last time, but we also ran the right fork (which was probably the funnest part of the whole day for me). Here's the track from it:EDIT: something else to mention is most of the logs that were crossing trails have all been cleared.
What do you mean the right fork? I can think where that is. Wish I coulda ridden there again.

I had a similar experience last week on my trials bike. Came over a ledge and there were about 25 baby quail. I freaked out and hit the gas instead of the brake. Flipped over, landed on the bike, then the bike landed on me. Sold my trials bike 2 hours later. Ha.

After riding the "ridge" (trail 13) you come to an open meadow type area. When we were up there, we went left as we were told right had a big log in the way. We decided to try right and it was a blast. There were a few areas where I see a log could have been , but nothing looked freshly cleared.

This last weekend my boys and I rode around Warner Valley and the West Rim. We had a good time.

Caleb, expect another order from me. Harrison went through two brake levers. That's 3 in the last 2 weeks. It's time for some hand guards for him too.

I leaving my WR down here in St George and am looking for someone to ride with next week in the evenings. I want to take the trail between Laverkin and Virgin that goes off to the right as you head towards Virgin. PM me if anyone wants to ride,

Cheston, the BOYS are riding the Beaver Mountain Loop next Friday. Hopefully the snow is all gone. If I can get back up next Thursday I am in but either way, let me know if you want to go.

Sorry I couldn't meet up this last week Russel. I just got your pm last night when I got home. I had no service down there for 3.5 days, something was wrong with my phone. It wouldn't have mattered anyways. My truck and our 2 trailers were way too packed to even fit my bike in. So next time were both down for sure. Thanks for the invite though.

Today my dad and I rode Kirkman's hollow up hobble creek. We rode trail 13 to the top and headed east and came out Saw mill hollow in diamond fork. The drop down into diamond fork was absolutely beautiful. No trees blocking any part of the trail. It is getting dusty already though.

Ouch man that sucks, hope you heal up quick. Darn rattler got ya.

I'm good for AFC Thursday...as long as we're back by dark.

My ribs still hurt too much to ride tomorrow. I'm thinking of riding hanging tree trail on Saturday, assuming I can get my forks rebuilt on my trials bike in time. OTherwise I'll be up for a quick jaunt up AF canyon.

I'm going to be riding Hanging Tree jeep trail this Saturday. It's in Ephraim. I'm going to be on my trials bike, but I imagine a very skilled rider could get through it on a lightweight enduro bike. I'll be meeting in Ephraim at 9 AM if anyone wants to join me.

A friend just called and needs my help, so I won't be riding tonight after all. I still plan on riding Hanging Tree in Ephraim this Saturday though.

I've never ridden that area before, what makes this trail so difficult? I'd like to check it out sometime but I don't consider myself "very skilled"

It's got big boulders you have to go up. Here are some videos. If you think you can tackle it, you're welcome to join us:
