The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

Runs awesome and starts ok when cold. As soon as it gets up to operating temps it starts to backfire, run rough, dies without any fuel, and then takes 100 kicks to get it started. Took it to motofrugals and they say everything is perfect and in spec. Tuned, rebuilt, and cleaned the carb. I know it's not running perfect cause it won't run.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy a shiny new bike! Just trade it in to one of these places that tell you it's running perfect, and let them deal with it.
 
I already tried that and then they of course said, we can only give you x amount because it needs a lot of work. How do they know what it needs?! They obviously don't.
 
Haha. I've had a few offers from people to fix it for me. I don't want to keep asking and bugging so if they really want to do it ill do it on their own time. Some others are a really far drive.
 
Brad Sorensen in Mapleton can fix it and he is the most honest, fair priced mechanic I have ever met. Pm me if you want his number.

I'd like to do a little riding this Saturday. I'm not sure where to go yet but if anyone wants to gets out you can help me decide. Anyone interested just let me know

Thanks for the invite Stratton but Id like to get my bike out and test my latest fixes before Easter weekend. Im down to go out to Dell when your season is all wrapped up, hopefully with the girls on their bikes.

We have room for one more in my truck to ride Dead Cow Tube on Saturday. The plan is to leave early Saturday morning and return Saturday night after a good dinner at Rays in Green River. Myself, my son, Cheston, Greg and Derek will be going. Greg is meeting us there so we have room for one in my truck
