The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

I ordered parts for my bike but I don't think they will be here in time for this weekend, but I would love to ride that area. Also from what I was able to ride in hog canyon it was a blast. Hog canyon reminded me of the swell but with more sand.

Red is the 5 miles of hell qualifier trail. If you can handle red without any problems you should be able to get through the 5MOH. If not, I recommend not doing it.

Good to know. 5MOH is one of those trails I say I would love to try, but doubt I ever will :D

Who's up for a ride in the Swell this Saturday? I'm thinking my bike might be rideable by then. A handful of us noobs are thinking of heading out there and riding Eagle Canyon to Eva Connover to Devil's Racetrack. Anyone want to join us? I'm thinking we'll leave Lehi around 10 AM, and start riding around 1 PM.

I really want to go but my sister is getting married Saturday. I have never ridden this are but would really like to

I should stress that I'm very much a new rider. I can handle fire roads without falling down, but rocky, technical stuff is tough for me. The trails I plan on riding are more scenic than anything, but they'll be a good first ride of the season for me, and a good test for my bike.

Blue and green are easy. I can't remember which is harder, red or orange. There is only one part that is really challenging. It's a fun climb up out of a wash that takes you over by the entrance to 5MOH. You can choose to not drop down into the wash but what fun would that be?

Is there a green trail? I found this map of the colored trails. Red is WAY out of my league.

Im going to get some parts today after work to do my top end as well so I should be good to go on sat. I was going to wait to do the top end but figured I would work on it as well while steve is doing his, and for the peace of mind.

Nice. Top-end party at my house. You should come over around 7:30 or 8 and get a head-start on it. Then by 9:30 we should be ready to do both of them.

Sounds good. I wish I would have ordered the parts days ago. Going to drive down to rmatv and grab them after work.

Coming out of Temple Wash is the wash I am talking about. Its the hardest part but doable or I can ride yours out. Before you drop down into Temple Wash there is a by-pass that is easy plus your out off the trail faster. You have to do the Temple Wash though. Its really not much harder then the one spot at the top of Devils Race Track.
