A friend of mine just built a pool using ICF’s like I used for my garage. He is doing it all himself. He says it has been pretty simple. He figures he will be into it about 50k when he is done with an automatic cover and doing concrete around the pool.

I have a stp. Always wanted to build one with a deck, but haven’t had time to build the deck yet. Got the tank cheap, and a used sand filter and pump for free.

I know a guy in Orange County who owns a pool maintenance company. One of his "side" gigs is refurbishing parts for pools and hot tubs and reselling them because new parts are stupid expensive and hard to get right now. He's doing very well currently.
