they claim it doesnt hurt articulation, but I put their kit on my dad's sami and we ended up removing it because it didnt articulate as well. we went with one from www.dj40.com it's far and away the best. (its also $450) anyway my .02

I can't tell the difference in the design. his website has some really crappy pictures and from what I can tell it is the same thing. are you sure you installed the spidertrax kit right? if you don't put the x-member in the right place it will limit the travel.

Other than the fact they hang way too low.... I have seen several bent sets opf those....

I personally would go with the Rocklogic4x4 design, they can custom make one to fit about anything... I have extensive research into traction bars and have decided that the Rocklogic one it the way to go...

As far as limiting articulation...Vonski's truck had all the articulation it needed the last 100 times on the trail and in comps... proven!

I like Rocklogics bars but I dont think they are as effective as one that is on the bottom of the axle. If everything is on top, what keeps the bottom from coming forward? I havent seen them in action but they say they work well. One way to tell is to pull your rig up to a wall in low range and let your clutch out. Then have someone watch your pinion go up.:D

the rocklogic traction bar is a true ladder bar design. it is not a single link. it works well.

In the next couple of months is when I'll get some money. Find out how much he wants for the both of them.

Do you want the extended SS brake lines also? Tires and wheels?
Mabey he'll make you a package deal. Let me know what you want and I'll find out.

I already have extended b-lines, tires and wheels. Didn't he have MTR's? If he woudn't mind letting those go for cheap I might consider tires. All I was looking into was just his axles and the Lockwrong, er, Lockright?

I think the rule of thumb on Sammies is stock axles are good up to 32" tires. If you want to run bigger meats, like 35's, you will need to get stronger axles. There are alot of options available from sammie guys like Brent at Trail Tough and Spidertrax.
