f-toy is a class for competition, with very strict rules. Neither of those are f-toys, although the cage kinda makes 1/4 eliptical's look like one.

I dont know the fine details of kung fu's rig but i have read the rules for f-toy many times steve and im pretty sure he would make it. It mainly is the engine and suspension have to be the same as factory and the frame.

hendrix on stock frame if i remember right
edit: here it is

0.3 Frame
0.3a The frame can be stripped of all cab mounts and brackets but must have a minimum of 3 cross members including one in the very front and one in the very rear.
0.3b The frame length can be shortened in the rear only. The total frame length must not be less than the length of the chassis. 0.3c Frame notching is permitted for shock clearance in the rear, steering arm clearance in the front, and seat clearance below
drivers and passengers seat. A minimum of one of the 4 sides of the frame rail must remain intact.
0.3d Angled or tapered cross members front and rear are legal, frame rails themselves must remain full dimension.
0.3e Frame must be Toyota Pickup or 4Runner frame, 2wd or 4wd

I dunno for sure, I've never followed the series that much. I know the cage portion has to be made by an "approved vendor", and Hendrix is the only name I've ever heard associated with the F-Toy series.

1\4elliptic toy

you can make your own f-toy, it just needs to be to spec with all of the others. Nic's (kungfu) won't qualify because we made a few changes to it, he wanted the f-toy look but not an f-toy.

True, I built my chassis. It is designed off the hendrix f-toy. I did talk to Craig and it will be competing in the f-toy class at delta.

I will play too...

First toyota:
mikestruck.jpg

2wd with welded rear end in snow was no good...

Sold it and got this:
cleanmode.jpg

Drove it for a few years like that. Loved it!

Then upgraded to this
(stock-ish):
utf-8BSU1HMDAwMDYtMjAwOTEwMjMtMTc1N.jpg

(And in its prime):
utf-8BSU1HMDEwNjYtMjAxMDA3MDUtMTYzM.jpg

utf-8BSU1HMDEwNzctMjAxMDA3MDUtMTYzN.jpg

utf-8BSU1HMDExNzItMjAxMDA3MjUtMTU1OS5qcGc.jpg

Loved that truck, but it was time for a bigger back seat.

And here is the new ride as of a few weeks ago:
