1 and an 1/8th of a row left to go! Then to figure out what walls to do...Shop ceiling... what a pain in the butt this is. I'm just glad I went with matte black so you can't see all the screw holes from missed studs
Almost half way there...

It's a family affair! Only people who eat here have worked on this project.Corban, are you sure you are not taking credit for other peoples work?
I'm also not paying a living wage. But he does eat a lot of corndogs that I pay for...OSHA approved use of the ladder.
Obviously not necessary since they have only been popular in recent years. They sure speed up install and make tiling a little bit easier for the average JoeAre the tile levelers really needed. I have done many rooms and never used them. Just spacers and set them and level by look and feel.
Regardless of what you put on the walls, back it up with 1/2" osb. then you can hang anything anywhere. I just when with painted osb... looks like crap, but it's just the garage1 and an 1/8th of a row left to go! Then to figure out what walls to do...
Update to this. Been a while!
To this:
I finished wiring up a new 220 outlet for my new to me wood lathe. The power cable was on the opposite side of the lathe so I had to stretch it tighter than I wanted and the cable was in the way. The best part of the whole thing is I had everything I needed except for the box cover plate so I didn't even have to run to the hardware store to get it working.

Afterwards I started on a bowl that I had roughed out last may and was dry. The turning club is having a "challenge" to turn a bowl with a very thin wall this month so this is my submission. There will be a long time turner table and a noob table so I'm hoping this will be good enough to win something. Its about 1/8" thick and is pretty consistent all the way through from top to base. It took me longer than I thought it would to sand it smooth and look pretty but I'm really happy with it. Its about 7.5" wide and 2.75" tall.

That's super cool. I've always hated woodworking and said it's for old people but honestly as I get older I can see the appeal.I finished wiring up a new 220 outlet for my new to me wood lathe. I'm taking a 3 day turning class in a couple weeks down in Provo and I'm really excited for it. Partly because I'll be not at work but also because I'll get to learn a bunch and have fun.
