Sitting off the side of I15 in lehi, in the dark with a pair of dana 60s strapped to a tandem axle trailer with two tires on it, two flats in the back of the dodge, and two spares with the wrong bolt pattern.
My dad with a hammer and a nail making MacGyver holes in the inner fender skirt that had popped loose and eaten the tires. Then using wood screws to hold the skirting back to the wooden deck of the trailer.
(borrowed POS trailer....)
The only way it could have been more redneck would have been to wear overalls, and involve moonshine and fire.
Sounds like a day at meats house
I just remembered my cousin telling me that he had charged the battery of an old chevy nova using a bandana and a chainsaw....
Removed belt, tied bandana around pulley, removed the "blade" from the chainsaw, and wrapped the chain around the alternator pulley... gidyup.
I think he might have actually done it too... he's just that kinda redneck.
Once upon a time, I was helping Goingcommando pull a 4.3 out of a GM van... and somehow an axe was implemented as a tool to remove "unnecessary" parts from the surrounding engine bay. :busted:
