What made you realize you weren't young anymore?

I'm just feeling a Joe Biden level of confusion. I thought phone holders were a younger crowd thing? Now you're saying it makes you old? I don't have one. And I don't feel young. You do have one, and I know you are young. So, just, WTF?

I feel like I should make a speech about Angola or something to bring this all together. Or just ask, WTF are you talking about youngster?

From what I’ve seen it’s an old man thing. Youngsters have their phone in their hand whilst driving 🤣

Old guys don't take their phone out of their pocket while driving. The phone may as well not even exist while I'm driving.

I had 2 recently...

1- trying to find a show to watch with the wife.. but kept passing a bunch up because the main characters were 'too young' in my view and no longer relatable.


2- dropped some parts off at Cruiser Outfitters and all the kids working kept calling me 'sir' and trying to make awkward small talk like I use to do with my grandpa..

Getting out of bed. Going to the gym. Being at the gym. Trying to do anything at the gym. Walking past a mirror. Trying to hoist a 39" tire into the back of my stock height pickup (and the 20-something skinny kid tosses it up with ease). HAVING a stock height pickup. Getting up off the couch. Getting up from literally anything. Making old man noises whenever I move. Sharing broken body part stories with other old people. The list goes on.

I never would have believed that I would be looking at a new F350 on 35’s and thinking it was tall but when my new truck arrived I said oh sh!t. Then I added the 37’s and I was saying this truck makes me feel shorter than I am already. Then my 5’3” wife says where’s the step ladder.

I guess I am old when a truck feels taller than my JK on 39’s……..but then again, it probably is.

I found out that my backpack that I bring into work everyday is older than some of my coworkers. That was a rough one.
