The last time I was up near the crack, someone had made some 'monuments' with some axle/suspension parts. While it was cool looking, it was trash to me.

I thougt that was just marking the trail. But trash non the less.

An update

We ran up there yesterday and the grave site had been all cleaned up. There were a few coins in the fire pit and a bandana wrapped around the bottom of the stone, but everything else was gone. It looked much better in my opinion!

I'm going with geo cache personally. most of that stuff is different than normal "trash" you would see on the trail. It looks to be more thought out than that.
