I'll take a wild guess and say a southward view off a side road on Boulder Mountain looking into the Grand Staircase/Escalante N. Monument with the long Straight Cliffs/50 mile bench in the far distance. I don't see Navajo Mtn though so I'm pretty sure I am wrong.

If I had to guess I would say Wooden Shoe Road, maybe overlooking a tributary of Dark Canyon?

Bingo (but you were there ) I believe the tributary canyon is called Lost canyon.

I had a reply typed up just like Kurts, wouldn't have known what tributary, then I had to "research it" and go and change my mind. "west of blue notch" threw me off.

On the current one I would guess West from the Henry's w/ boulder mountain on the horizon.

Doesn't really look like anything I recall from Frisco or Death canyon either. Of course, I could have that wrong too . Dunno... Hopefully somebody else actually recognizes it, otherwise I'm just going to start throwing darts .
