I've probably told this more than once already, but the very first time I ever ran the PET all the way across, I stopped there for the night. Slept in the back seat of my '68 Chevelle. Had a can of pork and beans for dinner and a Hostess fuit pie and cigarettes for breakfast the next morning . Some serious Duke's of Hazzard style action bombing the PET in a warmed up/jacked up Chevelle in 1980.

I know exactly where that is, but I didn't know it had a name of its own, I always considered that part of Fish Springs.

Close enough. The proper name is Wilson Health Springs or the USGS considers it "Wilson Hot Springs Group" which I guess differs geologically from the nearby Fish Springs group.

i think I where that is, but I don't know what that spot's called. Is it above the 1st hamongog, below the granite field near Lake Hardy?
