I have never been a car guy. Cars are useless.

However, if my ship ever comes in, you can bet I will be rolling around in a new mid-engine corvette. 😍
I've been jonesing for one since the first time I saw it.

Odd, I'm the opposite. Not at ALL interested in the C8 (or C5-C7). C7 maybe has a chance but I'd take a late model Mustang over the Corvette options. I used to really like GM styling. I don't know who's doing it the past 3 decades but they really suck

Hey look, a new cane for me

I’m with you. If you can see the headlights, and it doesn’t have chrome bumpers I’m not at all interested.

No cane here yet, but my mountain bike is kicking my ass on a daily basis.

Cane or no cane. Go drive one, you will like it.

It'll never happen for me. Just not interested enough to even sit in it. I'm sure it's fun car to drive. I'm not sure if my white New Balance, jean shorts and Corvette polo shirt are the match for that car. (maybe that car needs the combo with a "Fonz" leather jacket?)

In high school we had a 90's corvette come into the shop, and I jumped at the chance to be the one to pull it into the bays. Even as a skinny teenager I was immediately turned off by the feel of being stuffed into a small barrel of a cockpit.
I had a chance just a few years ago to get a beyond killer deal on one, and I passed it by as I didn't even care to deal with it.

I hope the new one doesn't do the same for me

The ones I've been in, you kind of "wear". (C3 and C4)

Post 1967, I have not been a big fan of the Corvette. The styling just doesn't appeal to me. I think some of the performance editions like the Z06 and ZR1 are appealing from the aspect of being a higher performance car than the standard model, but still don't think I would buy one. However the new body style, while pulling cues from other super cars, is appealing to me.
