ok, I have a 78 CJ; it needed new seats bad. I found a pair of 2000 Wrangler Seats and test fit them and they seem to be too tall; and don't really fit. Could I unbolt the seat sliders and just bolt the seats down to a bracket?? I am very new to the whole make it fit scene...as well as the jeep...

I know a few of you have welders, I am looking to get one. Trying to stay around 500 bucks or less, I would like to weld body panels, roll cages, and just misc stuff that comes up while working on a jeep....any help would be great!

thanks man, the red seats are still there...well the passenger one; I pulled out the driver seat and I am going to trash both seats. Not even worth giving them away. They replaced the carb, so it runs great. Its going to be a good winter project, I am thinking of getting a new tub to replace the...
