I don't think the trailer jack is the issue, it's the rear corner camper jack. At least, that's how it is on my setup.

Agreed. Make a little cart with casters on it to put under your brake drum. :)

Usually a Cruiser these days. (was my TJ previously) No issues with tongue weight so far, but it probably is excessive. I haven't weighed it....what I don't know can't hurt me.

I do this regularly. But with a larger camper than you're planning, a long bed truck, and a dreaded hitch extension. 😁

I don't have any of those parts, but I just wanted to quote your "I could use thick or regular gears", along with "Carriers for 3.92 and up". If you have thick gears, you'll need the 3.73 and down carriers. :)

I've seen the spool tilt deal, but my son's Ender 3 ended up getting a little roller, or pulley to guide the filament into the extruder. Works slick. :cool: It might be this one....but there are lots of options for similar things if you have a specific bearing you want to use, or no bearings...

I just attended a Google University class, and yes--8mm is different from MiniDV. :)

I found a couple old 8mm video tapes, I'd like to see what's on them. One might be blank, the other has a label that reads "Moab March 1998". :D If it's interesting enough, I'll send it in somewhere and have it converted to digital--but I'd like to check it out first to see if it's worth...

Do you have your axles already? If not, my $.02: I'm on board with Team Balljoint/Unit Bearing. I'm over dealing with lots of parts, grease, maintenance, etc. The newer axles (besides being more widely available) are just simpler and easier to deal with. :) There are other benefits too...
