My wife need to see more 80's movies

Are you wanting specifically action-type stuff, or other genres also? Either way, Die Hard should be there. Indiana Jones. Alien. Top Gun. Other favorites of mine: Back to the Future. Christmas Vacation. Beetlejuice. The Princess Bride. Batman. And I'll give it an honorary 80's credit...

    What's this thing?

Since I'm on the other side of this equation now, I'm not even disappointed. :D

    What's this thing?

This clutch was slippery, and since everything is oil-soaked I'm thinking it was that, versus being worn. That's been talked about. But that would also cost probably 5x what the car cost....and on a high-schooler's budget that ain't gonna happen. It just needs to get driveable for a...

So can I just seal it with RTV?

    What's this thing?

Working on my kid's car....1987 Fiero 2.8 V6. Needs a clutch. While it's out, we want to fix some leaks. I got a rear main seal already, but it also looks like the oil pan gasket is kinda squished out right in the middle. What is the 3 bolt cover right above the crank? It looks like it's...

Is it ok to have a "make light of" thread?

No problem, the rollers are still there.

Is it ok to have a "make light of" thread?

To be fair, it's no longer a boat hauler either....

    Wanted 8x170 rollers

Anyone have some Ford-ish wheels/tires I can use for rollers? I don't care about condition, tires just need to hold air enough to roll. They do need to be 17" or larger rims though, to fit '05+ Super Duty axles. Willing to pay, but as always less is more. :D

    Harbor Freight Welder Question

Same with my little Lincoln. It starts to weld funky when I'm using it a ton, I'm assuming I'm pushing close to the duty cycle limit? If there is a "limit". :) Welding beadlock rings onto wheels makes lots of welding happen in a short time.

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

It's not as fancy, but I've made a couple of brands using plasma-cut plate. Weld on a rod for a handle, done. :) I'll see if I can find a picture of one. We burned an "S" into a wooden bench for my FIL

    Project: Cheap! But still OK.

There's still quite a bit left to do before it's driveable. Brakes, transfer case stuff, steering box, rear shocks, drivelines, lots of welding, two more wheels to build.....

    School me on 35 spline

I'm 95% sure the '99-'04 unit bearings need to be bored out to fit 35 spline stubs, and then the stubs themselves and hubs/flanges like @Kiel mentioned. @skippy or @Agility Customs could confirm that...

What's the easy option for first-timer tax filing?

I wasn't aware TurboTax was usable for multiple filings. That's probably the way to go. Thanks everyone for the input!

    Project: Cheap! But still OK.

The hood doesn't quite close anymore, now that the coilovers are in there. The remote reservoir hoses are in the way--and the one without a 90 is REALLY in the way. :D
