I believe I have 50 feet of 1/2".

I'm sure the data is out there, but I'd like to know how much water this 50 ft will contain, versus the NEXT 50 feet. (but I don't want to know badly enough to actually look) Since the reservoir gets wider as it gets more full, this "first" 50 feet won't take as much water as the "next", and...

Really makes me wish I'd hung onto my 2000 for a while, since prices went nuts on them right after I sold it. I probably could have gotten $8K more than I sold it for. :(

No 350, just a 258. If you're wanting a HP third member, the Toy 8" is about the only one I can think of besides the $$$ 9" offerings. If you want to just build an axle, you could use a D44 center like I did on my 100's front axle. Using D50 gears if you want more gear strength.

I remember Creighton had a HP9 in the back of his CJ....after breaking the gearset several times, it was replaced with a LP60. :) His was a 35 spline setup, so I do believe it used a 9" carrier. (unless it was a Currie-specific deal like you mentioned)

No wheelwells....that means more room for storage boxes under the sides of the camper. :cool:

I just looked up the ARB RD 197....it's 33 spline. So that's some kind of upgrade compared to the SF14 I'm aware of.

I don't know if there are different varieties of SF 14's, but the ones I've dealt with have been less than awesome. The shafts are big, but then neck down to 30 spline at the carrier. (not FF 14 30 spline, but "normal" small 30 spline) They break right where the neck down is.

Cliffs: what's an acceptable compression number for 2 stroke yard equipment? I have a Toro CCR 2500 snowblower that has been awesome for the last 15 years or so, but has been difficult to start this last winter. Once it starts it runs great, just lots of pulling on the starter cord first...
