The second attempt consists of a universal SBC motor mount and an LS engine adapter plate. This moved the mount forward and up. Looks to be enough to allow the steering shaft to snake its way through. Next will be cutting the frame side tabs to fit and tacking them in.

Now that the radiator mounting is worked out, time to actually decide on some motor mounts. My first attempt was hoping this universal LS Style from Speedway Motors would work. They are really nice and built well. Unfortunately, they will not work due to where the steering shaft connects to...

I got to the Waterfall just in time to see @Bart front wheels in the air and then go over the top. The rest of the group made it over like it wasn't even a thing... Between my fear of nailing that rock nub at the top with my driver front tire and the fact that I'd spent half of the trail maxing...

Fan behind the radiator = between the radiator and motor. In front of would be between the grill and radiator.
