The Double ended ram is nice at speed, having the same amount of turns lock to lock is nice as well. but you cant beat the packaging of a single ended ram. Most people over build the DE mounts and under build the SE mounts. Typically 2 small tabs to mount the SE ram in a full hydro situation...

I agree with Carl, I wouldnt replace the knuckles. This rig is super light and I doubt will see the abuse it really takes to break a stock knuckle.

Now throw like a 5 degree bend in that tube and make the node line up

I would either bend the seat, or bend the tube so the nodes align or so I can drive the car just move the seat forward :rofl:

the only chunk of 8" square tube I could find was 1/2" thick so I would guess the base alone weighs 125 Lbs. 2 guys can pretty easily get in and out of the bed of the truck.
