Don't trust your voice to text app

I was getting ready to leave to take the scouts on a camp. The Bishop sent me a text to check my progress. I did a voice text to tell him that I was " loading up the gear in the truck and would be on my way." Voice to text wrote it as, " loading up the beer...". I proof read and changed it...

Willys Crawler 2.0 aka The Bastard

Yeah, what @STAG replied with. I found a set of non drilled arms on eBay for about $200 a set. They were not artec. That way, I put everything thing where I wanted.

    YJ build, the Wrongler

If you have the axle all cleaned up, know where you want everything/what angle and can bring them to me, I'll do it. I'll be around all day today. I'm in south Jordan. PM me for information.

    Comcast Mobile

This is the reason I have stayed with Verizon. I like the coverage I've had in the places I go and too afraid to commit or experiment with other services. I'll be watching this thread for input because I'd love to save some money.

    Northern Utah B̶r̶i̶t̶n̶e̶y̶'s̶ Jenny's Birthday Bash 3/7/2021

Are the flat arms weaker? I ask because I used a flat arm from an Astro. If weaker, I may need to talk to you.

Jeep So... I just put down a deposit- The Britney rebuild thread.

It may be too late. I'm starting to notice similarities... If the Jeep acts up on the birthday bash, we might see a repeat of this.

    Any concrete contractors on here?

When I built mine three years ago, I had a tough time getting bids and an even tougher time figuring how I was going to pay what they wanted. I ended up finding a guy on KSL that rents forms and did it myself. 32' x 40'. I did have a crew do the flatwork. Footings and stem were not bad to do.

Willys Crawler 2.0 aka The Bastard

Mine is the opposite of yours. Passenger drop axle with a very similar, simple, truss. The outside leg on my truss actually comes down straight where the tube presses into the pumpkin rather than flatten out over the old spring mount. My upper link is on the passenger side as the exhaust runs...

That's just a little more angle than Willys put in it. 😉 I like it!

How's an Atlas for long road miles?

Bummer! Expensive either way. Certainly more modifications to make the Atlas fit. Looks like this type of damage is common if the front driveline cv joint siezes at freeway speed.

    New Mbryson tow pig...”Sweaty Betty” - 2010 F350 V10

I agree with @Hickey You need to quit listening to the "my diesel gets xx mpg" guys.... My '15 Ram would be right there too. It seems to get about 2 mpg less than my previous - non emission era - 2001. However, the power, comfort and quiet cab are worth the difference. I just think you'd be...

Willys Crawler 2.0 aka The Bastard

I thought so until I parked between these two at the Bewilder off road show last summer. 45s and 43s can give a guy a complex. Got a good deal on a set of 43s not tool long after... However, BFGs run a lot more true to size than TSLs. So I will consider you a member of the big tire club.
