Looking for some hot rolled to build tube bumpers for my Suzuki. Anybody have any lengths kicking around?

Wasn’t there a member here who worked for jeep on development? He posted pictures of an IFS YJ he worked on. Perhaps he could chime in if still around. Edit: @Subarudude54 is the guy I’m thinking of.

To think, somebody (probably a full team) has a full time job just building concepts with Jeep’s money for the safari. That would be a dream.

Bought a BHW Passat at auction. Balance shaft chain is failing and noisy, but hasn’t completely gone out, still has oil pressure. Anybody interested in TDI swapping something? My wife isn’t happy that I brought this home, so either I pull it and delete the balance shaft and keep to swap into...

Any exterior pix?

If nothing else you could get a custom set made. Might just be kinda pricey.

Are they still in business? I tried contacting them regarding comanche leaf springs a while back and couldn’t get through to anybody ever, so I figured they closed shop and just had their website up.

Did a 2” body lift. Have 2004 Tacoma coils on order for the front, going to try to use some JL Teraflex springs in the rear. Also got one of the dodge Steelies mounted for testing. I still need to blast, paint, and swap my Firestone MT’s onto them.

Don’t hate on the MK4’s, that’s the best part of them!

Yeah squatters rights crap. A guy in New York just lost an acreage over it because one of his neighbors had goats and a pen on the property for like 20 years. I’d be livid.

Saw that in Springville yesterday. Or an identical one if not the same.

That sucked. The actual swap is going to be fun.

At minimum I’m sure I’ll need an entire upper end, so I’ve decided to just swap in an entire junkyard motor. Found one in Springville in a wrecked XL7, so I’m hoping that’s a sign that it ran and drove before the accident. I’m going to try to pull it this week if I can take a day off work...

I believe these are a bigger rotor than early sidekick/samurai, and will not. I am not 100% certain on that. I’ll have to look into it.

5x5.5 for the Suzuki. But need a 4” minimum BS, preferably 3-3.5”
