I don't see you getting vacume when the turbo is making boost, more like when it's lagging, that's when you're going to have vacume. If you've got 5 psi during boost that's positive pressure, not vacume.

If I remember right, Mike Lib had that on his WJ. Sounds like it does alright, I'm always wary of the RK product but in the case of the WJ it's either that or Tera and I would definitely stay clear of Tera, they've been trying to work the issues out but it's proven difficult and the ride...

Yeah, then you defeat the purpose of turbo-ing it. So in other words. Just get a new engine and run it NA.

Hmmmmm, interesting. You can sometimes find turbos in cars at junkyards. Maybe you could make this work. Maybe you could use some kind of exhaust tube to rout it. I wonder if your crank and bearings could take the extra power?

The entire carb has to be pressurized so air doesn't try to force itse'f out the butterfly centerpin holes and such. All the jets and such have to be changed too, it's not a slap on job.

So I fired up the cherokee for the first time last night after working through some issues. Starts great but the computer is shutting the injectors off after about a second. I'm sure I'm throwing a code but can't find out why and I need an OBD tool to find out. Does anyone know anyone...

I've never heard of that before, mine broke off when I tried to remove it to install my suspension. I had a hell of a time drilling it out. Is it possible that whoever put on your new suspension used a different bolt less than grade 8?

Welcome, sounds like you got yourself a prime rig to build. There's lots of cherokee owners here, myself being one of them. You're going to wanna lift it a little in order to find a similar one on this board though. Anyway, all the info you need can be found right here on this board...
