FWIW, much of my chimney pipe parts are Ameri-vent brand and I can provide part numbers if needed. All triple-wall I’ve seen is stainless and has to meet UL standards, so I’d just go with the best price. Also, opt for a “high wind” cap (bird spikes not included😉).

Btw, any “off the shelf” wall mounting or roof mounts are expensive for what they are and not real appealing. I built my own and you certainly could if the motivation’s there. 🤷‍♂️😂

We talked a bit and his internal suspension mods, slightly longer WB, and portals add up to a really capable machine. He obviously knows the rig and picks good lines. He lead the group most the day.

Thx man. I’ve been using the rear-steer an unnecessary (almost ridiculous) amount to test durability. Wouldn’t say I’m anywhere close to proficient in it’s use, but sure is fun. It can also put you on your lid pretty quick if you screw up. 😂

If you were mostly using it like a mechanic, it probably wouldn’t matter. I’m gonna assume you’ll use it during most or all of a buggy build or long term project. If that’s the case, probably better to tie-up the “less used” door and related area.

Lots of variables, but my guess is you wouldn’t make it through a full season. The knobbies don’t chunk or tear off, so you could sharpen the leading edges a time or two (knobby knife or tire groover) and try to prolong use a little. I’d plan on buying 2.
